Welcome to our unique little store!

I opened Odd Duck Books in Elma in 2021, and I absolutely love this community. Its small-town vibe, rural charm, and friendly folks make this area a gem of the Pacific North West.

I love books, but also music, art, and collecting all manner of interesting items. Previously, I operated a music store in Poulsbo and an antique store in Manette. All said, I have been collecting for over 40 years, and I opened Odd Duck Books so I can bring all these loves together and share them with our community.

I began with a goal of creating a space that welcomes visitors with the smell of books as soon as they open the door and then surprises them as they discover beautiful art, antiques, media, and the unexpected.

Over time, this place has transformed into so much more than a bookstore.

This is a place for all to come together in a warm and welcoming space and enjoy the discovery of their next favorite treasure.
